The Hauntingly Beautiful and Inspiring "Journey to the Promised Land" LIVE IN CONCERT

Here is a live performance of the band's electric fiddle-featured "Journey to the Promised Land". Beginning with Dave Cutrone's haunting piano solo (you can almost see Moses leading the children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt and the oppression of Pharoah). As the rest of the band re-joins Dave on stage they musically capture the long journey of the Israelites in the wilderness, the battles they had to fight and the joy of knowing God was with them. You don't want to miss the song's finale as Paul and the band demonstrate musically the joy and excitement of Joshua's triumphant leading of God's people into the land of milk and honey...the Promised Land. The band dramatically captures musically, the exhuberent climax of God's deliverance of His people with a rousing, fast-paced fiddle solo, an expression of the joy the Israelites must have experienced in receiving God's blessing...inheriting a land they had not labored, cities which they did not build, and vineyards and olive groves which they did not plant (Joshua 24:13).

It is a thrilling end to a great type and shadow of our own redemption and the work of Christ Jesus as He redeems us through His atoning work on he cross. Through Christ's shedding of His own blood for our sins we inheret as God's children Heaven, the Promised Land. What grace and mercy God demonstrates to us as He takes us to a land which WE have not labored, where we'll live in cities which we DID NOT BUILD and enjoy vineyards and olive groves which we did not LABOR and toil over, blessed to be with God forever and having all eternity to thank Him and sing His praises for this unspeakable joy and the realization of a physical, bodily resurrection. Friends rest assured Christ Jesus died for yours and our sins and redeemed us from the bondage of Satan, a type of Pharoah. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 6:23)

God is AWESOME and faithful, praise His Name brothers and sisters, forever and ever! Amen.
